Dow Chemical Wants To Buy British Business To Expand Polyurethane Business
Michigan, USA - Dow polyurethane Business Department of Dow Chemical Company (DOW) has announced plans to acquire Hyperlast elastomer Department of British polyurethane company and its Autothane buffer Rubber Co., Ltd., Autothane buffer Rubber Co., Ltd. is a company specializing in the production of automotive suspension rubber.
"The decision was made to expand the size of the Dow polyurethane sector in the future.
At the same time, increasing support for Dow customers in Europe is also required by Dow Chemical strategic objectives.
PatDawson, vice president of Dow Chemical polyurethane business, explained that "through our acquisition plan, the future Dow polyurethane department will continue to maintain stable and rapid growth, while providing customers with more perfect and thoughtful product support and technical support."
Hyperlast and Autothane belong to Vita group. The two companies are mainly engaged in the technical application and product development of polyurethane products in ship, engineering resin, petroleum pipeline and automotive industry.
