In Ki LEE said Pakistan is a very important country in cotton production because Pakistan is the fourth largest cotton producing country in the world.

The textile industry is the core cornerstone of Pakistan's economy and the twelfth largest textile exporter in the world.

At the same time, Pakistan has taken measures to ensure that the textile industry keeps developing in leaps and bounds.


In Ki LEE said that in the past decades, Korea has accumulated a great deal of knowledge in the textile industry, with many advanced and advanced clothing technology and human resources development.

In view of this reality, the government of Pakistan requested the South Korean government to set up a clothing technology training centre to provide professional training for the core project of the textile industry.


In this regard, in 2007 and 2008, the Korean international cooperation agency was grim.

As a result, the Korean government decided to provide assistance for the establishment of a clothing technology training center.


The vocational education and technology of garment training will provide professional training and develop technical labor in 5 fields, including garment technology, knitting technology, clothing distribution, sewing machine online management and operation.

At the same time, textile books and professional training will also be developed.


The training center will be located in the industrial area of Karachi, where the Karachi garment city project is being established.

The Ministry of textile industry will employ staff to run the center, training teachers' clothing education and training.

The Korea International Cooperation Agency will help establish a system to identify and manage the centre, organize courses and provide support to staff.

It will also provide necessary equipment and training for the centre.


In Ki LEE said the project will prove a touchstone for the two countries' mutual relations and enhance mutual exchanges and cooperation between the two countries.
