On the way to the shoe factory, we saw smoke coming from far away.

When I arrived at the scene, I smelled a pungent smell.

It is understood that the cause of the accident is that the shoe material in the workshop is on fire and ignites the sulfur store next door.

Firefighters then rushed to the fire, evacuated factory workers, and erected a water gun to spray water into the warehouse.

However, sulfur dioxide produced after burning sulfur is not only irritating and toxic, but also produces corrosive sulphuric acid when dissolved in water. Therefore, some firefighters feel pain when they are fighting with their hands with sulphuric acid.

After more than an hour of fighting, the fire was finally under control.

Because the warehouse for storing sulphur is an open-air warehouse, the factory is worried that it will rush sulphur into the reservoir after rain and decide to pfer sulphur.
