Group Sungjoo founder, MCM Group Chairman and CEO Jin Shengzhu (Kim Sung-Joo) said that this year will focus on expanding the Chinese market.

Jin Shengzhu said that the Chinese market was ignored before.

In 1994, Jin Shengzhu was invited by Zhu Rongji, then mayor of Shanghai, to visit China as an Asian business person. She saw that the hotel where she lived was surrounded by depression.

Now, when she comes to China, she is surprised by the rising young consumption power. She said she even wondered if she was in Beijing or in Paris or New York when he was in hotels or business centers.

Sungjoo group is responsible for Gucci, YvesSaintLaurent, SoniaRykiel and Marks&Spencer's franchise retail business in Korea, and has developed more than 100 boutiques in Korea.

In 2005, the Group acquired MCM brand of classic German leather goods and managed 150 retailers in more than 40 countries.

Through trading with the famous international fashion brands, Sungjoo gradually gained a foothold, established the leading position in the luxury industry, and set the Korean market as the focus of development.

Now, taking advantage of the opportunity to participate in the world women's summit in Beijing, Jin Shengzhu carefully inspected the Chinese market.

She found that in China now, it takes only two or three months to make great changes, and the birth of new things.

MCM has opened stores in Shanghai and Hongkong, and Jin Shengzhu plans to focus the group's development on China this year.

The specific steps are first, shopping malls in the bustling areas of the first tier cities.

Department store

The company continues to open a number of MCM stores, and then develops franchises in China's two or three tier cities. The third stage is to develop more local partners in China.

Jin Shengzhu is cautious about making high-end clothing e-commerce in China.

In Korea, the total sales volume of the group is US $270 million and e-commerce accounts for us $40 million, which has been a good achievement.

She said she needed to know more about the degree of development of China's logistics and the environment of e-commerce.

Jin Shengzhu said that in today's western T, Asian aesthetics can be equal to western aesthetics, and no need to look at Europe and America.

Empire's wink.

She is very confident of China's new generation of consumer power and plans to make MCM the most popular high-end brand among Chinese young people.

Through investigation, Jin Shengzhu has made certain psychological preparations for the fake market of China's clothing industry.

She said that in the next 2 to 3 months, the EU Chamber of Commerce will join the Chinese government in combating piracy. Only by doing so can we reduce the loss to a greater extent.
