International Footwear Industry Technical Standards Working Conference Held Recently
The international footwear industry ISO/TC216 technical standard working conference was held recently. The technical staff of Wenzhou Quality Inspection Institute and the technical director of five shoe manufacturers of Kangnai, AOKANG, red dragonfly, Tamar and Augustus participated in the discussion on 6 parameters of the antibacterial, sole bending and harmful substances limitation of the shoes. Qi Xiaoxia, Secretary General of the national footwear Standardization Technical Committee, believes that the formulation of international standards can demonstrate the strength of Wenzhou shoe enterprises and help them effectively avoid technical barriers in international trade in the future.
The five Wenzhou shoe enterprises that participated in the conference have been actively involved in the discussion and formulation of relevant standards in the domestic footwear industry. When they learned that Chinese footwear enterprises were eligible to participate in the formulation of ISO/TC216 technical standards, they actively applied and passed the examination, and successfully entered the competition.
It is reported that the results of this meeting will be submitted to the next round of meeting held in Milan, Italy this November 18th to discuss and vote.
