In the overall structure of imported underwear in Russia, the proportion of knitted socks is the largest in terms of price, accounting for 62% of the total imports.

Women's underwear imports accounted for 26%, and men's underwear imports accounted for 12%.


Imports of all products increased from US $153 million in 2006 to US $439 million in 2008, and then dropped to US $399 million in 2009.

From 2006 to 2009, the underwear imported from Russia increased from 12 thousand and 200 tons to 25 thousand and 300 tons.

The import structure is as follows: knitted socks account for 71%, women's underwear 19% and men's underwear 10%.
