Silkworm silk is delicate, white, smooth, highly polished, flexible and elastic, especially in terms of fiber elongation. It is far superior to tussah silk. Therefore, silk quilts made from mulberry silk are more fluffy, lighter and warm than tussah silk. It is the first choice for hand-made silk quilts. This is no need to refute.

However, we found that due to cost and price factors, tussah silk is often used by illegal traders to bleach in order to pretend to be mulberry silk.

Tussah (tussah and "do" are homophones, not read fried). The nickname "wild silkworm" and "quercetin" are the unique silkworm species in the north. They are mainly eaten with "oak leaves".

The color of the cocoon is gray, cyan or black.

Antheraea pernyi is larger than silkworm, because it is scattered in the wild, so its resistance and vitality are better than that of silkworm.

Its silky grey and fiber are coarsely and harder than mulberry silk. If they are made of quilt, they will feel a little hard and touch, but they are not smooth enough. But there are many advantages of tussah silk, such as toughness, acid resistance and alkali resistance.

Tussah silk can also be processed into quilts, but it is usually made of silk quilts.
