Chen Shu Zhong said that during the "11th Five-Year" period, the total investment in the contract energy management project amounted to 68 billion 395 million yuan, forming an annual energy saving capacity of 22 million 426 thousand and 800 tons of standard coal and an annual emission reduction of 61 million 67 thousand tons of carbon dioxide.

During the "11th Five-Year" period, the energy saving service industry drew more than 180 billion yuan of social investment.

He also said that the development goal of the "energy saving industry" in 12th Five-Year is: the energy saving service industry achieves 300 billion yuan gross output value, of which the contract energy management exceeds 150 billion yuan, and achieves the energy saving capacity of more than 40 million tons of standard coal.
