Y-3 09 Autumn Winter New York Men'S Ready-Made Dress Increased


Under the global financial crisis, the fashion show of New York fashion week seems a bit bleak. At the very moment, the release of Y-3 (Handbag) 09-10 autumn and winter fashion brings bright colors and broad tension to people living in such an environment.


Y-3 09-10 autumn and winter fashion show is selected in New York Pier 40.

At 17:00 on February 15, 2009, the big show opened on time, with nearly 1000 guests enjoying the fashion show with a strong sense of art and color.

The show is quite different from the previous years. The original square floor, through the arrangement of lights, colors and the seats of the audience, has formed an approximately circular stage. It has performed the masterpiece of Adidas and Yohji Yamamoto in the twelfth quarter.

Compared with the rough and industrial simple background, the center of the show reflects the characteristics of this show.

The five thousand square meter site was decorated by a famous New York artist, MOMO, into a colourful stage.

The geometric patterns and large bright colors used are in sharp contrast to the classic black and Navy colors. The designs also incorporate bright blue, purplish red and orange to make the costumes more alive.



The theme of this season is "fashion expression in sports".

Yohji Yamamoto and Adidas began to explore more masculine directions in the field of dress.

Inspired by uniforms and Japanese tailoring, the beauty of 09-10 autumn and winter series focuses on the precise proportion, thoughtful details, the contrast between luxurious winter fabrics and sports functional ingredients.

Artist MOMO's abstract art has also been screened for use in this season's design.

MOMO is an excellent conceptual artist living in Broolyn, New York.

His unique collage painting has been recognized and appreciated by his side and even many other cities.



Masculine design concept runs through the entire women's wear series.

Characterized by extreme loose fitting and tailoring, such as super short double row coat, swallowtail jacket and so on.

Y-3 men's wear series features: a double deck sports coat and unusual fabric, such as polyester pants and corduroy belts on the large windcoat of the towing ground.

Super pocket and subtle three bars are also applied to the design of the entire series, reflecting the Yohji Yamamoto master's own understanding and interpretation of the elegant movement style.



Military uniforms and sports outlines are also found in footwear.

For example, round small metal pieces, 3 striped cortical spurs, and military short boots sports shoes.



Y-3 also released a new series of children's wear.

Following the launch of baby children's shoes series, Y-3 first put children's clothing on show ground.

From casual sports wear, bright black nylon, enlarged size dress and special 3 stripes and logo placement, we can see that Y-3's past signature and signature aesthetics will be applied to children's wear design in the future.
