In addition to famous furniture exhibitions, most of the other homogeneous exhibitions are at a disadvantage in the competition and have a great pressure to survive.

Therefore, the future orientation of Dongguan's convention and exhibition industry is crucial. Previously, it was generally said that Dongguan should build a "famous city of convention and exhibition", but this orientation is not different from other cities. We should strive to build a "capital of industrial exhibitions in South China". We should not compare ourselves with others. We are not a famous fashion city that leads consumption like Guangzhou. Luo Bin: In combination with the city's advantages in holding exhibitions and the needs of industrial development, we should strengthen the promotion of investment in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Europe, America, Japan and South Korea, especially for exhibitions closely related to the city's pillar industries and strategic emerging industries, formulate preferential incentive policies, and encourage all departments, chambers of commerce, industry associations, and exhibition companies to actively introduce (bid for) world-class National level and industry famous exhibitions, introducing brand exhibitions to settle in Dongguan. For example, in the second half of this year, it is expected to introduce a national auto insurance exhibition. This exhibition is the 56th this year. It is a well-known exhibition for auto parts, decoration and maintenance, with a scale of 50000 square meters.

At the same time, it will encourage and guide well-known exhibition companies at home and abroad to set up independent legal institutions in Dongguan, and support the continuous expansion of the overall strength of exhibitions in our city through acquisition, merger, association, equity participation, holding, restructuring and other forms. We should further clarify its development direction, form dislocation management, and prevent vicious competition.

Dongguan International Convention and Exhibition Center mainly holds new exhibitions and all kinds of large and medium-sized consumer exhibitions with an area of less than 30000 square meters, including electronic exhibitions, diffuse exhibitions, etc; Guangdong Modern International Exhibition Center mainly holds large-scale comprehensive exhibitions such as large-scale enterprise exhibitions and foreign trade fairs; Changping Convention and Exhibition Center is no longer an important professional exhibition hall, but gradually turned into an exhibition hall, focusing on holding small and medium-sized exhibitions with high industrial relevance in the east of our city and consumer and agricultural exhibitions facing eastern towns, such as the Beijing Kowloon Agricultural Trade Fair.
