US Cotton Export Net Contract Again Negative

The shipment of 51075 tons during the week increased by 48% compared with the previous week, which was 59 percentage points higher than the average value of nearly four weeks.

They are mainly shipped to the mainland of China (26740 tons) and Turkey (8482 tons).

Mainland China signed a net contract of 6056 tons a week, a decrease of 59% over last week, and a shipment of 26740 tons, an increase of 29% over last week, accounting for 77% of the total freight volume.


In the week, the export volume of the US upland cotton was 51 thousand and 100 tons, an increase of 48% over the previous week, an increase of 59% over the previous four weeks, mainly to China (26 thousand and 700 tons), Turkey, Mexico and South Korea.


In the week of 2011/12, the net contract volume of the export of Pima cotton was 2 thousand and 500 tons, the highest record since this year. The main buyers are China (2 thousand tons), Pakistan and Thailand.

The export volume of Pima cotton is 4 thousand and 400 tons, the highest in the year. It is mainly shipped to China (2 thousand and 200 tons), Pakistan, Peru and India.
