Italy, February 20th (www.ansa.it) on February 20th, despite the slowdown in the economic development of the major industrialized countries, the leather and leather processing industry in the country still has significant benefits.

Its domestic market sales increased by 5.7% to about 600 million euros, and exports reached 2 billion 700 million euros, an increase of 17.6%.

According to the statistics of trade associations, the total output value of leather industry reached 3 billion 850 million euros in 2007.
