The responsibility for safety is heavier than Mount Tai. From February 10th to March 11th, the relevant departments of Yucheng street, Yuhuan County, Taizhou, Zhejiang, carried out investigation and regulation of enterprises with hidden dangers, such as shoe leather, carton, plastic, and so on, and opened up 43 fire safety passageways, totaling more than 6000 square meters.

In March 11th, in a workshop shoe leather factory outside Macun, more than 100 square meters of fire-fighting passageway was covered with iron boron and bamboo shed, which was filled with flammable articles such as leather and carton. The safety exit of the workshop was seriously blocked. After thorough investigation and ideological work, five or six staff members immediately dismantled the violation to ensure that fire safety passages were set aside.

Immediately, the workers dismantled another shoe and leather factory in Macun. The shoe and leather factory also blocked fire safety passageways. Although the occupation area was not large, the staff still strictly dismantled according to the requirements.

It is reported that since the convening of an emergency meeting on fire safety work, Yucheng street has been rapidly moving into 21 inspection teams. It has gone deep into the villages (communities) in the jurisdiction, and has launched a "dragnet" check for 189 enterprises that are prone to serious safety fire hazards and 13 new residential areas. On the basis of investigation, the Yucheng street is sorted out according to the hidden danger of safety, and the illegal building is dismantled in batches and the fire safety passageway is opened.

At the next stage, Yucheng Street will continue to strictly comply with the requirements of the "ten unities" of fire control, and rectification of a number of potential safety hazard points, so as to remove fire safety passages one by one. At the same time, we should carry out "look back" and establish a tracking system for safety hazard investigation and rectification, so as to prevent the demolished enterprises from being erected again, ensure the effectiveness of remediation, and close the "safety valve".

But on the same day, the law enforcement officers came to the workshop again and found that they were still in production. The narrow production workshop was full of semi-finished women's shoes and boxes, and the room was pungent with glue. The law enforcement officers immediately organized personnel to remove the illegal cloth, and the police station was summoned to detain the person in charge of the workshop.

It is understood that since the "1.14" shoe factory fire in Wenling, shutting down a large number of "low, small, scattered" workshop, part of the Wenling unlicensed shoe leather workshop has been transferred to the surrounding counties and cities to take advantage of the situation. In the campaign to promote the second campaign of "clearing away fires", the Town Council organized relevant departments to intensify large-scale action and regulation on key industries such as clothing, shoes, leather, plastics and furniture. In particular, the "three in one" workshop, which was seized, was strictly released in accordance with the "nine requirements" and was severely punished on the spot.
