Daphne'S Revenue Fell Nearly 20% In 2015.

The fate of International Holdings Limited (hereinafter referred to as "Daphne") declined in 2015.

Yesterday, Daphne's performance report showed that in 2015, the company's revenue fell nearly 20% over the same period last year.

According to the performance report, Daphne's turnover in 2015 was HK $8 billion 379 million 100 thousand, a decrease of 19.1% compared to the same period last year, and the loss of company holders should be HK $378 million 900 thousand.

For the decline in performance, Daphne said in the announcement that

Adverse effects of the environment and weather anomalies led to a weaker performance than expected in 2015.

Not only does sales continue to decline, but the number of Daphne stores shutting down is even more alarming.

The bulletin shows that the number of Daphne shops in the fourth quarter exceeds the total in the first three quarters, reaching 405, and the total number of stores closed 827 in the whole year.

Compared with the crazy expansion of Daphne in those days, such a large scale store is obviously more eye-catching.

The annual report shows that as of December 31, 2015, Daphne has the core.

There are 5597 sales outlets, including 5056 Direct stores and 541 franchised stores, with less than 10% of franchisees.

In the early days of Daphne, the proportion of franchisees was about 80%.

The industry believes that joining the alliance and moving to the battalion are one of Daphne's strategies.

Daphne is closing down its franchised stores in the long run of its main business, which is intended to unify the channels and reduce the cost of circulation so as to increase revenues and profits.

However, judging from the current performance of Daphne, the battle for direct closure of a large number of franchisees did not let the performance get warmer.
