The Municipal Industry and Commerce Bureau has learned that in order to protect the legitimate rights and interests of consumers and strengthen the supervision of the quality of key commodities in circulation, recently, the Huangshan City industrial and Commercial Bureau launched a sampling inspection of children's clothing products.

Relevant staff of the Municipal Bureau of industry and Commerce said that since June 1st this year, the safety technical specification for infant and children textile products (GB31701-2015) has been formally implemented, which is the first mandatory standard for children's clothing in China.

According to the different safety requirements, the standards of children's clothing safety technology can be divided into three categories: A, B and C. Class A is the best, followed by B class, and C class is the basic requirement.

Try to choose simple styles of clothing, check the appearance quality of the clothes and the fastness of the zippers and buttons, and make sure that the edges are smooth without sharp objects; choose fabrics that are hygroscopicity, breathability and warmth retention, and check the use of the clothing.

The newly purchased personal clothes must be washed before they can be worn, and the formaldehyde and discoloring dyes inside the clothes are removed to better protect children's safety.
