The layout should first be traced back to 10 years ago to purchase the clothing website Shop Bop. After 3 years, Amazon bought the footwear business Zappos at the price of 850 million US dollars.

Amazon also launched Zac Posen and Stuart Weitzman brands for high-end fashion.

The move gradually changed the image of Amazon selling only cheap products. Morgan Stanley analysts estimated that Amazon's clothing sales increased by 1 billion 100 million dollars in the previous quarter, while total sales of Messi, Nordstrom, Sears, Kohl, s, JCPenney and Dillard totaled a total loss of $225 million.

Although the managers of these stores blamed the loss on the weather and consumers' preference for the purchase of large items such as televisions, and in the past 15 years the average annual growth rate of the American clothing market increased by only 1%, but Morgan Stanley analysts believe that the loss of the mall turned into an increase in Amazon's revenue.

"It is expected that the electricity providers (mainly Amazon) will continue to absorb market share from the mall, and it will be very fast, because Amazon's attractiveness in the fashion market is rising," said Morgan Stanley analyst.
