Hohhot customs reported 18 days ago that the total value of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region's foreign trade and import and export in the first quarter of 2019 was 26 billion 200 million yuan, an increase of 11.2% over the same period last year, which is 7.5 percentage points higher than that of the same period.
According to the latest news from Hohhot customs, the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and Inner Mongolia are still the main trading partners in the first quarter.
Statistics show that in the first quarter, Inner Mongolia's import and export volume to Mongolia was 7 billion 490 million yuan, an increase of 29.3% over the same period, and the import and export volume of Russia was 4 billion 590 million yuan, down 1.8% from the same period last year.
In addition, the import and export value of Australia, Vietnam, New Zealand and the United States increased to varying degrees, of which Inner Mongolia's import and export volume to New Zealand increased by 63.3% over the same period last year.
Hohhot customs 18 news also showed that in the first quarter of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, the total value of imports of coal, copper ore, sawn timber and iron ore amounted to 9 billion 920 million yuan. The Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region actively explored new trade markets, and accelerated growth in foreign trade in ASEAN, Africa and other emerging markets.
Reporters also learned from the Hohhot Customs on 18 th that in 2018, the Hohhot customs conducted a total of 12 batches of imported commodities in the statutory inspection catalogue, and 5 batches of unqualified products were detected, with an unqualified rate of 41.67%.
Spot checks are made for children's toys, baby clothes and food contact products, and other unqualified items are children's toys and baby clothes.
The specific unqualified items are mainly in toy signs, toys, small and medium-sized parts and baby clothing labels and specifications are not qualified.
