In order to implement the development strategy of general secretary Xi Jinping's "promoting the transformation of Chinese products to the Chinese brand" and Premier Li Keqiang's directive spirit of "strengthening quality, standards and brand building", the China brand building Promotion Association commissioned the textile industry standardization institute to take the lead in the establishment of China's textile and apparel brand cluster.


With the joint efforts of all parties, the preparatory work of China's textile and apparel brand cluster has been ready. In order to further organize the work of Chinese textile and apparel brand cluster and create a more favorable brand building environment, the strategic topics of brand quality to boost the high quality development of textile and garment industry and the way to achieve brand internationalization are discussed. In January 4, 2020, the China Textile and apparel brand cluster Establishment Conference and Summit Forum was held in Nanjing, Jiangsu.


The conference was sponsored by the China brand building Promotion Association, sponsored by China Textile Standard Inspection and certification Limited by Share Ltd, and organized by the textile industry standardization institute and Inner Mongolia Brand Strategy Promotion Association.

Wang Siyuan, Deputy Secretary General of the Jiangsu Provincial People's government, said in his speech: "guided by Xi Jinping's socialist ideology with Chinese characteristics in the new era, Nanjing fully implements the nineteen spirit of the party and sticks to the new development concept. In recent years, Nanjing has implemented the transformation and upgrading project in depth, and has responded positively to the special action of increasing varieties, improving quality and creating brand "three products", speeding up the transformation of traditional industries including textile and garment industry, and promoting the optimization and upgrading of textile and garment industry, independent innovation and brand building. Nanjing will take this conference as an opportunity to strengthen brand building as an important starting point for the structural reform of supply side and promote the development of high quality economy. We must unswervingly implement the brand strategy and enhance the visibility and reputation of Nanjing's brand, brand and product brand at home and abroad. At the same time, we will fully support the construction of China's textile and apparel brand cluster, and contribute to the Chinese textile and clothing brand to go abroad and contribute to the world's contribution to Nanjing wisdom and Nanjing strength.


Ma Yongmei said in his speech that the China textile standard is a comprehensive technical service organization integrating standards, testing, metrology, certification and inspection. It is the first batch of national standard verification testing and testing units approved by the Ministry of industry and technology, and the first batch of national standard verification testing and testing units approved by the GB. "Brand cluster" as a platform for "sharing, sharing and building win win" will focus on the textile and apparel industry, gather the strength of the industry, promote the transformation of the industry's kinetic energy, and promote China's textile and apparel industry to enter a new stage of high quality development. In the future, the China textile standard will take the cluster brand building as the breakthrough point, and communicate with the leading textile enterprises and research institutes in the whole country, and make joint efforts to make China's textile and clothing brand cluster into an excellent platform for cultivating Chinese textile and clothing brand, enhance the connotation of "Chinese brand logo", and play a leading role in the development and construction of China's textile and apparel industry, and constantly highlight the new style of Chinese textile and clothing brand. Ma Yongmei said.


Wang Baojun, an intermediary in the preparatory work report of China's textile and clothing brand cluster, said that China is a big producer of textile, clothing and apparel. To achieve transformation from a big manufacturing nation to a manufacturing power, efforts must be made in many ways. With the opportunity of "one belt and one road" initiative, a number of excellent and independent brands of textile and clothing have entered the international multilateral market. However, brand awareness needs to be further improved, and the internationalization of brands needs to be further established. At present, the product structure of Chinese textile and clothing is becoming more reasonable and the level of technology has improved significantly, but there are still some problems such as low intensity of intensification and poor effectiveness of brand building. The development of brand clustering is a realistic way to establish a national brand image and build a brand powerful country. Therefore, it is imperative to form a cluster to integrate the high-quality brands of China's textile and apparel industry, and form highly intensive brand clusters to participate in international competition.


The meeting examined and adopted the Convention on the brand cluster of Chinese textile, clothing and apparel, and elected the chairman, vice president and Secretary General of the cluster. Gao Yingjie, chairman of the Inner Mongolia Brand Strategy Promotion Association, announced at the scene that Chen Xingying, vice chairman of the expert committee of China brand building Promotion Association, was elected chairman; Yang Jizhao, vice chairman of the former China Textile Industry Federation, was elected as executive vice chairman; party secretary and chairman Zhuang Xiaoxiong of the China Textile Research Institute Co., Ltd., Gao Dekang, chairman and chief executive officer of the board of directors of Bosideng International Holdings Ltd., Mr. Hu Gang Gao, executive vice president of YOUNGOR group Limited by Share Ltd, Li Feng, director of Limited by Share Ltd quality control center of Hai Lan home, was elected vice chairman; and the deputy director of the Standardization Institute of textile industry was elected secretary general.


As the first chairman elected by China's textile and clothing brand cluster, Chen Xingying said that after the establishment of China's textile and apparel brand cluster, vice presidency and Secretariat will lead the development of cluster members to support the textile and apparel industry chain service system and create a more favorable brand building environment. Through the national policy support, brand value evaluation release, exhibition display, industry self-discipline and so on, we can promote the enterprise brand to become bigger and stronger, and develop the industry brand into the national card, and select a number of internationally renowned brands with strong influence in the world, expand the brand influence, expand the international market space, and establish the influence and discourse power of Chinese textile and clothing brand in the international arena, so as to realize the transformation of Chinese products to the Chinese brand and promote the construction of China's brand power.


Next, the conference carried out the unveiling ceremony and the Secretariat awarding ceremony of China's textile and apparel brand clusters, and gave the certification ceremony to the first batch of member units and observers.


In the keynote speech, Liu Pingjun first brought the report entitled "strengthening the building of brand clusters and promoting the development of Chinese brands onto the world". He pointed out that at present, 20% of the well-known brands have 80% market share, and the world has entered the era of brand economy. China needs to cultivate a number of internationally renowned product brands, enterprise brands, regional brands and industrial cluster brands, establish a good image of Chinese brands, and participate in the fierce competition of global brand economy. In response, Liu Pingjun put forward five suggestions: first, to foster international advantage brand clusters; the two is to cultivate regional brands, and to lead the regional economy to develop with high quality; the three is to publicize the positive energy of Chinese brands through the Chinese brand day; four, to promote the development of brand by financial, and five to release the brand index and lead the brand development. The China brand building promotion association will take the brand cluster members as the main body, establish the Chinese brand alliance, lead the Chinese brand to the high-end value chain, represent the Chinese brand image to take part in the world, participate in the global brand economy's intense competition.


In the report entitled "the status quo and development trend of China's textile and garment industry", Yang Jizhao pointed out that nowadays, the brand awareness, design ability and creativity level of textile and clothing enterprises have been greatly improved, but there are still some problems such as low intensity of intensification, poor brand building effect, lack of international fame and influence of brands.


In the face of severe domestic and international macro situation, textile and garment enterprises should accelerate their technological innovation, cultural guidance and responsibility oriented, while cultivating their internal strength, they should develop together and produce a Chinese characteristic combination. With the help of the platform of China's textile and apparel brand cluster, we hope that we can further integrate the high-quality brand of the industry, form a highly intensive brand cluster and become an invincible position in the international competition. Yang Jizhao said.


Finally, Gao Dekang, chairman and President of Bosideng International Holdings Limited, Professor Du Jiangang, professor and doctoral tutor of Nankai University business school, and Lu Li Li, Deputy Secretary General of China brand building Promotion Association, have successively brought forward a report on "brand leadership and high quality development", "value enhancement and internationalization development path of China's textile and garment brand", and "brand evaluation standardization to boost brand development".


Bosideng has been leading the country for 24 consecutive years, and its products sell well in 72 countries, winning over two hundred million people. Gao Dekang said that for brand building, believing is the starting point of success and persistence is the end of success. And how to achieve brand leadership? Gao Dekang put forward four points of view: first, to return to brand guidance and enhance brand potential; two, to strengthen product innovation, to sit on solid professional experts; three, to optimize the channel structure and to promote channel upgrading; four, to make big data analysis and promote intelligent manufacturing.


In his report, Du Jiangang pointed out that the trilogy of China's textile and clothing cluster brand includes brand strategy, cluster ecology and symbolic action, thus forming cluster brand value. Aiming at how to enhance the brand internationalization of brand clusters, he said that this includes two parts: "doing well", "Chinese textile and clothing brand" and "saying" good Chinese textile and clothing brand. It needs to form government, intermediary, association and media ecology circle to jointly provide continuous kinetic energy for the development of China's textile and clothing brand cluster.


Lu Lili's report focuses on three aspects: brand evaluation, brand evaluation and brand development. Brand is the comprehensive embodiment of the competitiveness of enterprises and even the state, representing the upgrading direction of supply structure and demand structure. The so-called "who sets standards, who has the right to speak, who holds the standard and who will occupy the commanding heights", which also highlights the importance of standards for brand building.
