Today, The United States Will Impose A 25% Tariff On Some Chinese Products. (With List)

A few days ago, the US Trade Representative Office (USTR) announced the announcement of the expiration date for the second batch of 34 billion dollars tariff exclusion list, which was first excluded in March 25, 2019. The expiry date was originally due in March 25, 2020. The announcement decided to extend the validity period of some commodities for a year from March 25, 2020.

The products which are not extended for the period of validity, including 22 items under the 19 tax numbers, will be removed from the list after expiration of March 25, 2020. These products can be exempt from customs duties from July 6, 2018 to March 25, 2020, but the additional tariff is 25% from March 25, 2020.

The extension of the validity period involved 11 commodities, including the total excluded commodities under the 2 tax numbers and 9 items in the 7 tax numbers.

There were no 19 items of tax number and 22 items in the list excluded, and a 25% tariff list was added.
